Un fulmine al cielo sereno! Anzi tra un raggio di sole ed un pit-stop diverso in attesa di una partita di golf nei vari circoli nel Lazio come Golf Nazionale a Sutri, Golf Club Velka Tarquinia o Terra dei Consoli Golf Club a Monterosi.
Quali sono i migliori gioielli dei nostri percorsi che abbiamo fatto negli ultimi mesi? Semplicemente l’Italia. Sulla strada Aurelia in direzione Ventimiglia e si proprio la prima strada romana SS1 e ….ci fermiamo presso un hotel, all’altezza di Montaldo di Castro la Marina, al confine della Regione Toscana.
Arriviamo un sabato di novembre, non troppo freddo anzi proprio nel giorno dell’Estate di San Martino, intorno alle 12.00, ci accolgono alla reception de Hotel Ristorante Vulci già si denota l’ospitalità, calda ed accoglienza. Elegante! Un piccolo hotel sulla strada della nota SS1 super strada, verso Nord ovest. Facciamo il check-in avvertendoci degli orari del ristorante e del suo menu alla carta, con preferenze del pesce fresco. Naturalmente! Ci scortano presso le camere del primo piano. Appena apriamo le finestre vediamo un piccolo assaggio del panorama del parco dei Vulci dove comprende anche la piccola cittadina di Montaldo di Castro.
La voglia di percorrere la strada dei parchi nella nostra Italia è tanta, ma iniziamo con il Parco dei Vulci, una piccola informazioni per voi lettori. Cosi potreste fermarvi ad ammirare animali, vegetazione rigogliosa. Al Parco Naturalistico Archeologico i visitatori possono ammirare gli scavi archeologici dell’antica metropoli etrusco-romana di Vulci, le nobili tombe etrusche, i reperti esposti nel Museo Nazionale Archeologico, il tutto immerso in una Natura dai tratti incontaminati, che offre colori, suoni ed emozioni sempre diversi. Il canyon formato dalla scura roccia vulcanica scolpita dalle acque del Fiora; il pianoro popolato dalle maestose vacche maremmane e da cavalli bradi; la rigogliosa vegetazione lungo le sponde del fiume. Il rifugio per cinghiali, lepri, istrici ed a Primavera, il cielo colorato dai tanti arcobaleni dei gruccioni.
Vulci è archeologia, natura e tradizione! I visitatori possono scegliere di ammirare la Natura e la Storia di Vulci passeggiando con tranquillità lungo uno dei Percorsi segnalati: il percorso breve (km.2,500), il percorso completo (Km.4,500), il percorso natura (km 1,700), che consentono di visitare gli scavi archeologici della città etrusco-romana senza perdere il Laghetto del Pellicone, “tappa obbligata” di ogni percorso. Per gli amanti della natura da non perdere la Valle delle Farfalle, il percorso nei pressi della Porta Nord, dove attraverso la creazione di “isole” che ospitano piante utili ad attrarre i piccoli imenotteri e pannelli didattici, gli appassionati e non solo potranno approfondire il tema. E’ inoltre possibile visitare in autonomia, tutti i giorni nell’orario di apertura del parco, la necropoli Settentrionale, dove seguendo un percorso accessibile anche a persone con ridotta capacità motoria, si potranno visitare la Tomba dei Soffitti Intagliati e la Tomba della Sfinge. A pochi minuti di macchina dalla Biglietteria del Parco, attraversato il Fiora, si trovano il suggestivo Ponte della Badia ed il Museo Nazionale Archeologico del Castello della Badia (il museo è statale ed è chiuso il lunedì) Sempre sulla sponda opposta del Fiora, si trova la Necropoli Orientale, con la Tomba François, la Tomba delle Iscrizioni ed il Tumulo della Cuccumella. Ma poi proseguiamo verso il Mar Tirreno più precisamente a Montalto Marina, ma scopriamo che la batteria della nostra auto in Car Sharin Eplusshar Drivalia è in al limite e quindi cerchiamo nell’App dedicata per una ricarica auto e la troviamo a pochi metri da noi e dal hotel ma quest’ultimo ha già dichiarato nella nostra video intervista che vi sarà entro l’anno delle colonnine a disposizione dei clienti sia per hotel che per il ristorante. Ottimo per i viaggiatori in green!
Ma appena parcheggiata la vettura Fiat 500 e notiamo che su tutto il lungomare di Montalto marina ci sono dei cumoli di sabbia del mare, dopo la tempesta Ciaran ha portato distruzione di vari stabilimenti e piena di grandi e piccoli tronchi di legno. Ma il sole fa da padrone in quel giorno e quindi facciamo una passeggiata sulla spiaggia tra orme di zoccoli di cavalli e di persone che facevano lo stesso come noi. Si arriva presso la foce del Fiora il fiume e notiamo ancora di più la forza della tempesta le onde molto alte ed il mare entrava nel fiume con forza.
Ma il tempo è quasi finito e dopo un giro panoramico nei dintorni si ritorna presso Hotel Vulci e ristorante e ci fermiamo ad assaggiare i piatti del Ristorante. Il titolare Pietro ci accoglie nel Dehors ma si può stare anche all’interno per degustare i piatti a km 0 naturalmente di pesce fresco. Finito di gustare i piatti si ritorna in camera che poi notiamo sia accogliente e calda dai colori della terra tra tradizione ed il presente. Certo voi penserete che per essere un tre stelle è un po’ datato ma la gestione e la proprietaria è nuova, insomma è appena nata quindi diamole un po’ di tempo per migliorare e gestire al meglio la struttura. La sua storia è da oltre 30 anni di attività e di clientela che vengono dalla capitale o dalle zone limitrofe e di passaggio attraverso la SS1 Aurelia.
Ci svegliamo molto presto per recarci presso il circolo del golf che si trovano nelle vicinanze, perché abbiamo la scelta di molti, come a pochi chilometri c’è Golf Nazionale che è entrato nella settimana della Ryder Cup under 21, poi più vicino c’è il club di Marina Velca all’interno di un consorzio di residenze. Poi verso il confine della Toscana altro circolo del Golf a pochi minuti dal nostro e vostro hotel prossima fermata.
Ma c’è anche la questione di cultura con le visite tra musei, siti archeologici e borghi antichi e perché no assaggiare i tipici prodotti della terra e del mare della zona, Montalto di Castro, Tuscania e la parte naturalistica con parchi e passeggiate sia a cavallo che a in bici.
Non so se vi sarà utile questo nostro viaggio, ma chi ama viaggiare sia per diletto o per la scoperta della bella nostra Italia oppure per lavoro per un pit-stop di riposo ecco scegliete questo hotel per ogni occasione. Buon viaggio e soggiorno.
