Record-setting total will uplift future generations of girls and women
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Jan. 15, 2026) – The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) today announced that the 75th Anniversary Pro-Am at Pebble Beach Resorts® delivered a landmark fundraising achievement for the LPGA Foundation, raising $4.1 million to support the next generation of girls and women in golf.
The record-breaking effort was powered by more than 70 sponsors, led by Founders Society members ($1 million plus giving) the USGA; Pebble Beach Company; Chevron, title sponsor of The Chevron Championship; and Fortinet, title sponsor of the Fortinet Founders Cup. The greater business and golf communities also rallied around the cause, with support from AIG, Aon, Bank of America, Defiant Whisky, Des Moines Golf and Country Club, Dormie Network, eMAXX Assurance Group of Companies, Jared Wolovnick and the Wolovnick Family Gift Fund, HSBC, IBM, Marie Birdie, Mark Ricks, Mizuho Americas, Outlyr, Rolex, SERVPRO, The Kelly Group, The R&A, The Standard, Synchrony, Topgolf, TUMI, Wasserman Foundation and Friends of the LPGA (Diane Gulyas, Carolyn Mendez, Paula Schuler and Jenna Schuler), among others.
“I really believe, from the bottom of my heart, that our moonshot at the LPGA is to inspire millions of people across the world,” said LPGA Commissioner Craig Kessler. “Jacqueline Nickelberry, our 75th Pro-Am Chair and Foundation Board Member, said it best. You can make par from the rough, you can make par from the sand, but if you’re in the fairway, it’s just a little bit easier. Thanks to our incredible partners and friends, so many more people will be in the fairway now.
“The $4.1 million raised over these three days blew our target out of the water. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank everyone who participated for inspiring the next generation and keeping us moving forward as we work to change the face of the game.”
The milestone event took place from Jan. 12-15, 2026, at one of golf’s most storied venues, capping off a historic anniversary season for the oldest women’s sports organization in the world. The 75th Anniversary Pro-Am showcased generations of female golfers from LPGA legends and current stars of the game to members of the LPGA*USGA Girls Golf program. The celebration also featured industry leaders, philanthropists and sponsors who all played a part in generating one of the largest fundraising totals in the history of women’s sports.
“This is a really special event,” said Angela Stanford, the seven-time LPGA Tour champion and 2026 U.S. Solheim Cup Team captain. “When you think of 75 years of the LPGA, this event is meant to honor the past and continue the fight for the future of women’s golf. To have partners, sponsors and friends of the LPGA come together like this has just been phenomenal.”
Guests first arrived at Pebble Beach Resorts® on Monday, Jan. 12, where they were treated to the FM Gifting Experience with gifts from supporters such as Dormie Network, Tournament Solutions and AHEAD, Antigua Apparel, Titleist, Maui Jim, Strackaline and Rolex. This is just the latest in a series of investments made by the leading commercial property insurer and title sponsor of the FM Championship. Next came a Par 3 Closest to the Pin Challenge presented by The R&A at The Hay, a nine-hole short course designed by Tiger Woods and TGR Design. Each group featured an LPGA player and her personal Girls Golf caddie. The day closed out with the USGA Welcome Reception at Hay’s Place.
Tuesday’s action kicked off with a 75th Breakfast presented by Yahoo! Sports followed by a round of golf at The Links at Spanish Bay™, where participants competed in a five-person shamble format that included an LPGA legend and active Tour athlete per group. Sponsors like Topgolf, GolfTraveller and PING provided guests with refreshments and course content experiences. Following golf, Defiant Whisky hosted a Bagpiper Cocktail Reception at The Beach & Tennis Club. The day concluded with a 75th Anniversary Dinner Celebration presented by Roberta and Andrew Bowman. As part of the dinner, guests were treated to a fireside chat led by Judy Rankin featuring the past, present and future of the game in Pat Bradley, Lydia Ko and Megha Ganne.
Yahoo! Sports also presented Wednesday’s breakfast. This time however, guests were preparing to play the iconic Pebble Beach Golf Links®. They competed in the same format as day one, with their two-day totals deciding the champion. This historic event officially closed the chapter on 75 years of the LPGA with an HSBC Awards & Closing Ceremony at the Fairway One Complex at Pebble Beach Resorts®.
