Metz, June 13th, 2025- After the opening round of the 2025 Open International de la Mirabelle d’Or, Switzerland’s Luca Galliano holds the outright lead with a superb 7-under-par, 63. Ireland’s Ronan Mullarney sits one shot back in a solo second after posting a 6-under-par, 64. In a 7-way tie for 3rd place at 4 under-par: France’s Mathieu Prost and Augustin Holé, and Italy’s Davide Buchi, Jacopo Vecchi Fossa, Edoardo Giletta, Giovanni Manzoni, and Luca Memeo.

The first round of the 22nd Open International de la Mirabelle d’Or teed off this morning at its traditional venue, Golf Domaine de la Grange aux Ormes, near Metz, France. Players were greeted with sunny skies and warm conditions as the competition got underway.

Gli azzurri Guido Migliozzi, Edoardo Molinari e Andrea Pavan sfidano i big del golf nella 125esima edizione dello US Open. Terzo Major maschile del 2025, è in programma dal 12 al 15 giugno a Oakmont, nella contea di Allegheny, nello Stato della Pennsylvania.
US Open: 156 giocatori in campo, tra cui 49 tra i migliori 50 al mondo – Al torneo, che per la decima volta, la prima dal 2016 (vinse Dustin Johnson), si disputerà sul percorso dell’Oakmont Country Club, vi prenderanno parte 156 giocatori, tra cui 49 tra i migliori 50 al mondo, con la sola defezione dell’americano Billy Horschel, numero 26, infortunato. A difendere il titolo conquistato non solo nel 2024, ma anche nel 2020, sarà il californiano Bryson De Chambeau, uno dei 14 campioni della LIV, la Superlega araba, in campo. Sarà sfida super negli Usa, in un evento nato nel 1895 (trionfò l’inglese Horace Rawlins), con Scottie Scheffler e Rory McIlroy tra i più attesi. L’americano, numero 1 mondiale, è reduce da tre successi (CJ Cup Byron Nelson, PGA Championship e The Memorial Tournament) nelle ultime quattro gare disputate.
