Zheng, currently ranked 26th in the Asian Tour Order of Merit and a regular contender since turning pro at the start of last year, is making his major championship debut at the 153rd Open – which starts Thursday at the stunning Royal Portrush Golf Club.

Organisers confirmed today the Ciputra Golfpreneur Tournament will once again be staged this season, marking its 10th edition and cementing its place as the Asian Development Tour’s (ADT) longest-running event.

Returning to Damai Indah Golf (BSD Course), it’s regular home since its inception in 2014, it will be played from 20-23 August and mark the first visit by the ADT to Indonesia this season.

Il King’s Course ospiterà la 39a edizione dell’ISPS HANDA Senior Open dal 23 al 26 luglio 2026, dopo aver ospitato per la prima volta il campionato nel 2022. Quell’anno, il nordirlandese Darren Clarke è diventato il quarto giocatore della storia a vincere sia l’Open che il Senior Open, concludendo con un colpo di vantaggio sull’ex compagno di squadra della Ryder Cup e campione del Major Pádraig Harrington.

Il francese Callixte Alzas con una volata finale in 65 (-5) colpi e lo score dei 271 (70 67 69 65, -9) ha rimontato dal sesto posto e ha vinto l’English Boys U18 Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship, evento più noto come “Carris Trophy”, dove ha offerto una buona prova Giampaolo Gagliardi (Olgiata), nono con 278 (68 70 71 69, -2), dopo una gara tutta a ridosso dei leader.
