June was a great month for golf on the LPGA Tour. With two majors and two tournaments in Michigan, there were many excellent rounds of golf. We are wrapping up the best shots from those tournaments all in one place.
Four Weeks, Five Aces
Across four tournaments, five aces were recorded in June. That means a total of $100,000 was added to the season-long total that will be donated to St. Jude Research Hospital, thanks to CME Group Cares Challenge – Score 1 for St. Jude.
Xiyu Lin made a run for it at the U.S. Women’s Open presented by Ally, her first professional start since having her son in 2025. In the final round, she recorded an ace on the 173-yard sixth hole at Riviera Country Club. This marked her sixth career hole-in-one.
The first career ace for Julia Lopez Ramirez came at this year’s Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give. She aced the 170-yard 13th hole at Blythefield Country Club during the opening round.
The second ace of the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give belonged to Minji Kang. Also, a career first, she carded a hole-in-one on the 183-yard 15th hole during the second round. She carried the momentum of this ace through the rest of the week, recording a career-best finish tied for fifth.
Amanda Doherty kicked off the 2026 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship with an ace in the first round on the 161-yard 17th hole at Hazeltine National Golf Club. This marked her first LPGA Tour ace, but not her first ace ever. She has four others, including one earlier this year during an Epson Tour Monday qualifier.
Ladies European Tour member Shannon Tan drained the fifth and final LPGA Tour ace of June during the second round of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. The 169-yard 4th hole at Hazeltine National Golf Club marked her first LPGA and major career hole-in-one.
Miles and Miles of Putts
Pajaree Anannarukarn wrapped her moving day round with an impressive eagle at the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give. This lag putt moved the two-time LPGA Tour champion 21 spots up the leaderboard.
Brooke Henderson carded two eagles in the second round of the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give. Her eagle on the eighth hole featured a lengthy putt to get her under par, while her eagle on the 18th hole was a nice and easy two-footer to close the day.
Wei-Ling Hsu kept herself in contention on the final day of the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give with three birdies before draining a fist-bump-worthy eagle on the 14th hole. She then wrapped her round with two more birdies. Thanks to this stellar performance, she finished the tournament tied for third.
Two-time 2026 LPGA Tour champion Hyo Joo Kim put up an impressive 51-foot putt for birdie on the sixth hole at Hazeltine National Golf Club in the opening round of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.
Keep the Putter in the Bag
Gina Kim drained an eagle from the fairway on the fifth hole at Midland Country Club during the final round of the Dow Championship. This shot helped her and teammate Yana Wilson to a two-stroke victory, marking the first career win for both players.
Lottie Woad flushed a birdie from the bunker on the 17th hole during the final round of the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give. This shot gave her the lead, but she ultimately finished second after a playoff against Miyu Yamashita.
Alexa Pano got off to a hot start at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, rolling in an eagle from the fairway on the 11th hole during the opening round. She kept the great golf going, ending the week in 18th place for her best finish of the season.
Yani Tseng took all necessary precautions, losing the socks and shoes on the seventh hole at Hazeltine National Golf Club to get a good stance in the opening round of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. The payoff was great as she managed to chip in from behind the water hazard line for birdie. She then carried that momentum into the second round, chipping in from the bunker for birdie on the closing hole.
LPGA Tour rookie Erika Hara earned herself an eagle the hard way during the second round of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. She holed out for eagle from the fairway on the par-5 seventh hole, sticking the approach shot close and giving it three little hops before rolling the ball into the hole.
Jin Young Ko is no stranger to great golf and the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship was no exception. She conquered the 14th hole at Hazeltine National Golf Club with an exquisite hole-out eagle during the second round.
Esther Henseleit chipped in three times during the final round of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. All from just off the green, she birdied holes Nos. 2, 9 and 17 with a wedge that ultimately helped record her fourth top-15 finish of the season.
Bombs Away
Nelly Korda smashed her drive off the 18th tee at Hazeltine National Golf Club during the third round of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. Her drive ran for a total of 337 yards, setting her up for an easy par on the difficult par-4 hole.
