Germany’s Hanna Tauber secured her maiden LET Access Series (LETAS) victory triumphing at the 2026 Allegria Stegersbach Ladies Open in Austria.

The 21-year-old had a very consistent week on the Sudburgenland of the Allegria Golf Resort carding three consecutive rounds of 69 (-1).

Heading into the final round, Tauber held a one-shot advantage at the top of the leaderboard but began her day with a bogey.

She bounced back with a birdie on the fifth before making further birdies on 1, 13 and 15 to strengthen her position at the summit.

Despite back-to-back bogeys on 17 and 18, Tauber held on to win with a score of three-under-par.

“I’m overwhelmed right now. I just have not processed it yet! On 17 and 18, I thought I had just lost it because I bogeyed the last two [holes],” said Tauber. “On 18, I thought I hit a great chip, and it rolled down 15 metres and I was surprised. I made a good putt and holed that one, so I finished good after all.

“The key to my game was just not being too aggressive. Today, for example, there were some pins that were so close to the edges. It was about hitting it way off the pin to just keep it on the green and make a safe two-putt and move on.

“A lot of greens have very good potential to be three-putted. I hit a lot of fairways and a lot of greens. It was about keeping it simple and not being too aggressive because that would have come around and bit me.”

For the final day, Tauber was joined by friend and compatriot Theresa De Bochdanovits as her caddie.

She added: “Theresa who is my roomie this week caddied for me today. I asked her yesterday evening. If you have someone on your bag you can talk to or click with then it’s always so much easier because you don’t stress out that easily.

“If you’re on your own, you get lost in your own thoughts. For me, it was about staying outside of my thoughts and not getting into it too much. It was comfortable to not have to think about too many things.”

Iceland’s Ragga Kristinsdottir ended the week in second place on one-under-par after a level par final round in Austria.

Three players were in a share of third place with France’s Lauren Holmey, Germany’s Lisa Marie Schumacher and England’s Jessica Hall all on even par.

Holmey had an excellent final day producing a round of 67 (-3) which included a hole-in-one on her first hole of the day.

American Katherine Schuster, Finland’s Tiia Koivisto and Italy’s Emma Lundgren were T6 with five players rounding out the top 10 in a share of ninth place.

LETAS now takes a one-week break before heading to France for the Arkea Montauban Ladies Open at Golf de Montauban from 5-7 June.
