Secondo riconoscimento consecutivo per la nuova BEV.
La SUBARU SOLTERRA (con specifiche statunitensi) è stata premiata con il TOP SAFETY PICK+ 2024, il massimo riconoscimento per le prestazioni di sicurezza dell’Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
L’IIHS è un’organizzazione no profit statunitense finanziata dalle compagnie assicurative, nata con lo scopo di ridurre gli incidenti stradali e le vittime degli stessi. I test IIHS valutano due aspetti della sicurezza: la resistenza agli urti, ovvero quanto un veicolo protegge i suoi occupanti in caso di incidente, e la prevenzione e la mitigazione degli incidenti, ovvero la tecnologia che può prevenire un incidente o ridurne la gravità. I veicoli che ottengono i risultati migliori nei test effettuati dall’ente statunitense si qualificano per il Top Safety Pick. Questi premi identificano ogni anno i veicoli più sicuri in ciascuna categoria.
Per il 2024, l’IIHS ha modificato i requisiti per i suoi premi TOP SAFETY PICK e TOP SAFETY PICK+1:
- “buono” nei test frontali a sovrapposizione ridotta e nei nuovi test laterali;
- “accettabile” o “buono” nella valutazione di prevenzione degli urti frontali pedonali
- “accettabile” o “buono” nella qualità dei fari con valutazione su tutti i livelli di allestimento.
Inoltre, una valutazione di “buono” nel test frontale originale con sovrapposizione moderata è sufficiente per il TOP SAFETY PICK, ma per premio massimo del TOP SAFETY PICK+ è necessaria una valutazione di “buono” o “accettabile” nel test aggiornato.
Questo prestigioso risultato ottenuto dalla SOLTERRA per il secondo anno consecutivo conferma l’importanza della sicurezza per la casa giapponese, uno dei valori imprescindibili del marchio e che resta al centro della progettazione delle vetture anche nella nuova era dei Battery Electric Vehicles.
Dal 2013, SUBARU ha ricevuto un totale cumulativo di 72 premi TOP SAFETY PICK+, ovvero più di qualsiasi altro marchio.2

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
