The new Patrone 45’ Convertible made its world debut at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, drawing strong interest from visitors and boating professionals alike. The new flagship of the shipyard marks a further step in Patrone’s contemporary reinterpretation of the Ligurian gozzo, reflecting Patrone’s distinctive vision. The new Patrone 45’ Convertible is part of the evolution undertaken by the Moreno family  in 2022 with the Patrone 100 and continued in 2024 with the Patrone 45’ Open. Through these two models, the shipyard has succeeded in preserving the Mediterranean identity of the gozzo while introducing new ways of enjoying life on board together with an increasing focus on quality of life at sea. With the 45’ Convertible, this approach now culminates in a more evolved concept of cruising, designed to explore the Mediterranean with greater freedom and comfort, and with more time to enjoy the sea. With an overall length of 14 metres, the new model embodies this approach through a bright, functional and contemporary design language, while retaining the distinctive character of the Patrone gozzo. For the first hull, Patrone has chosen MOSTO red, an intense and deep shade inspired by the culture of the grape harvest and the Ligurian vineyards overlooking the sea. “Born from an owner’s request and developed by the shipyard as an expression of our strong commitment to customisation, MOSTO reflects the brand’s connection with its home territory and the Mediterranean, enhancing the lines of the hull with a warm, elegant and distinctive colour accent,” says Benedetta Moreno, Brand Manager at Patrone. Particular attention has been devoted to the selection of materials, fabrics and finishes, helping to create a sophisticated yet authentically nautical environment. The spaces have been designed to adapt to the different moments of the day, combining elegance, a distinctive nautical character and versatility within a welcoming and dynamic setting.“With the Patrone 45’ Convertible, we wanted to create a boat designed to be fully enjoyed, capable of combining comfort and protection with the charm, simplicity and identity of the Patrone gozzo,” says Gianarnaldo Moreno, General Manager of Patrone and, together with Benedetta, the fourth generation of the shipyard. “It is a model designed for owners who want more space, more light and greater freedom, without compromising the direct and authentic relationship with the sea that has always characterised the world of Patrone.” The spaces have been conceived to offer maximum freedom in terms of configuration and use. The dinette, in particular, can be transformed and adapted to the different moments of the day, shifting from a dining area to an aperitif space and ultimately converting into an additional sleepig area. The cockpit is available in two configurations: with a central sofa that can be transformed into a second sunpad, as featured on the first unit or with perimeter seating that leaves the central area open, offering greater freedom of movement and a versatile space that can also be used for fishing. The deck, finished in eco-teak, with natural teak available on request, completes an arrangement that prioritises functionality and attention to detail. Comfort underway is further enhanced by the presence, for the first time on a Patrone model, of a 220 V Quick Gyro X13 gyroscopic stabiliser, designed to improve guest comfort by reducing roll while underway and while on board. Propulsion is provided by Volvo Penta IPS 600 engines with joystick control, offering intuitive handling and greater agility during manoeuvres, including in harbour. Navigation is further supported by a digital anchor system and autopilot, while the helm station incorporates Garmin instrumentation with dual screens, electronic throttles, a Quick chain counter and an electrically adjustable helm seat, bringing control, ergonomics and technology together in a single environment. The interiors, designed by Tommaso Spadolini, feature pickled and whitewashed oak, creating a bright, elegant and timeless atmosphereIn keeping with Patrone’s longstanding made-to-measure philosophy, the shipyard offers owners extensive opportunities to customise fabrics, colour details and finishes, as well as the layouts, allowing each interior to reflect individual tastes and lifestyles. “Designing the Patrone 45’ Convertible meant reinterpreting the identity of the Ligurian gozzo through a more contemporary approach, while preserving its authentic character,” says Tommaso Spadolini. “The challenge was to achieve a natural balance between personality, light and spatial fluidity, creating an increasingly direct connection between the interiors and the sea.” The choice of upholstery reflects the same focus on aesthetics and functionality: Rubelli fabrics have been used for the interiors and the exterior sofa, while the forward sunpad is upholstered in Italvipla fabric. These materials combine elegance, comfort and practicality, even in the conditions encountered at sea. The saloon is at the heart of life on board. Conceived as an open, welcoming and versatile space, it features a large dinette with 360-degree seating, creating a convivial and relaxed environment designed to adapt to the different moments of the day. Thanks to this arrangement, the Patrone 45’ Convertible offers 4+2 berths: four in the two cabins, plus two additional berths that can be created by converting the dinette. The layout of the first unit includes a master cabin with a double bed and a VIP cabin with twin beds, that can be brought together to form  a double bed on request. Natural light is one of the defining features of the Patrone 45’ Convertible. Large windows and the design features incorporated into the interiors help create open and bright spaces with a strong visual connection to the outdoors. Particular attention has been paid to the signature windows, first introduced on the Patrone 100 and subsequently adopted on the more recent models in the range. This design solution enhances the flow of natural light and maintains a continuous visual connection with the sea, even from inside. One of the most significant innovations introduced by the new layout is the positioning of the galley below deck, a solution adopted by Patrone for the first time. This choice completely frees up the main deck, leaving the saloon and dinette as dedicated spaces for socialising, relaxing and enjoying everyday life on board. For a yacht of this size, the result is a remarkable sense of space and openness. The large hull-side windows and the opening towards the upper deck provide the galley with abundant natural light, views of the sea and visual continuity with the saloon. The result is an airy environment that is fully integrated with the main living spaces, generous in size and characterised by an almost residential feel. Fully equipped, the galley features a Miele induction hob, oven and 45 cm dishwasher, as well as a large-capacity refrigerator, ensuring maximum comfort even on longer cruises. The yacht’s extended-cruising capabilities are further underlined by a technical specification designed to ensure autonomy and comfort. A watermaker produces fresh water directly on board, while two 12,000 BTU Frigomar air-conditioning systems ensure a comfortable climate throughout the interiors. A 14 kW Paguro generator further supports the yacht’s onboard services. Boarding solutions have also been integrated into the design with particular attention to aesthetics. The recessed Besenzoni SP608 five-step electro-hydraulic gangway remains completely concealed when not in use, preserving the model’s clean lines while providing a practical solution for boarding and disembarking. Following its world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the Patrone 45’ Convertible will also be on display at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show, where it will make its Italian debut from 1 to 6 October 2026 (stand BP03).
