The 52nd edition of the CPKC Women’s Open returns to Royal Mayfair Golf Club for the third time and first time in more than a decade. This week, 156 players from across the globe will come together to compete in Edmonton in Alberta, Canada for a purse of $2.75 mil. Here’s a closer look at the groups to watch this week at the CPKC Women’s Open.

Thursday, 8:06 a.m., 10th tee; Friday, 1:21 p.m., 1st tee – Hyo Joo Kim, Hannah Green, Miyu Yamashita

Kim is one of the hottest players in women’s golf this season with four worldwide victories already this year. She returns to the CPKC Women’s Open where she’ll make her fifth appearance and has played consistently throughout the years without ever missing a cut. Kim is coming off a tie for 16th in her last start at the AIG Women’s Open. Green will make her first start since taking some time off following the season’s final major championship where she was tied for 29th. Green is making her seventh appearance at the CPKC Women’s Open where her best finish came in a tie for fourth in 2023. Yamashita will make her tournament debut this week at the CPKC Women’s Open looking to build on the consistency she’s shown throughout the season with seven top 10s and a victory through the first half of the season. Yamashita missed just her second cut of the year in her last start at the AIG Women’s Open where she was defending champion.

Thursday, 8:17 a.m., 10th tee; Friday, 1:32 p.m., 1st tee – Nelly Korda, Gaby Lopez, Lindy Duncan

Korda returns to action for the first time since the AIG Women’s Open where she was tied for fourth. Korda has two top 10s in her six prior starts in Canada, including a runner-up finish in 2022. Korda returns to Canada with four victories already this season in addition to six top 10s. Lopez will look to get her season back on track as she heads to Canada after missing the cut in back-to-back starts at the Amundi Evian Championship and AIG Women’s Open. Lopez is making her seventh appearance in Canada where her best finish came just last season with a ninth place showing. Duncan has a lot to play for this week as she looks to qualify for her first U.S. Solheim Cup team. Duncan currently sits at No. 9 in the U.S. Solheim Cup point standings and the top six have already secured their spot on the team. Duncan could also qualify via the Rolex Rankings or rely on a captain’s pick from Angela Stanford, which will be determined following the conclusion of play on Sunday. Duncan was tied for 32nd last week in Portland.

Thursday, 1:10 p.m., 1st tee; Friday, 7:55 a.m., 10th tee – Jennifer Kupcho, Sei Young Kim, Andrea Lee

Kupcho has consistently played well in Canada where she’s never missed the cut in her five prior starts and was fifth in 2024. Kupcho is coming off a missed cut in her last start at the AIG Women’s Open. Like Kupcho, Kim has also played well in Canada where she has four top 10s including a runner-up finish in 2016. Kim was tied for 29th at the season’s final major championship. Lee was tied for 18th last week in Portland where she recorded her best finish on the LPGA Tour since February. It was much needed as Lee is looking to play her way onto her third U.S. Solheim Cup team when the team is finalized upon the conclusion of play on Sunday at the CPKC Women’s Open. Lee comes into this week at No. 8 in the U.S. Solheim Cup point standings.

Thursday, 1:21 p.m., 1st tee; Friday, 8:06 a.m., 10th tee – Brooke Henderson, Minjee Lee, Lydia Ko

Henderson, a two-time winner and defending champion of the CPKC Women’s Open, returns as the fan favorite looking to win on the LPGA Tour for the first time since her win in Canada last year. Henderson won in thrilling fashion last season with a narrow one-stroke victory ahead of Minjee Lee. Henderson is one of the few players who competed at Royal Mayfair Golf Club the last time that the CPKC Women’s Open was held at the venue in 2013. Henderson missed the cut that year as an amateur in the field. Henderson will play the opening rounds alongside Lee, who was runner-up to the Canadian last season. Lee will be looking to recapture the form she found last summer in Canada after missing the cut in two of her last three starts. Like Henderson, Ko has a history at Royal Mayfair where she won her second of her three CPKC Women’s Open titles in 2013. Ko returns to Canada off of a tie for 20th in her last start at the AIG Women’s Open.
