Fresh from her delivery earlier this year, the 102.4-metre Nixie is already one of the most talked-about superyachts in the world. Not only is she the largest yacht confirmed to attend the Monaco Yacht Show 2026 so far, but she’s also one of the world’s most exclusive charter yachts, commanding one of the industry’s highest weekly rates.

Ahead of her Monaco debut, BOAT takes a closer look at the custom Lürssen, from her record-breaking dimensions to the standout features that make her one of the year’s biggest new launches…

1. She’s the largest yacht attending the Monaco Yacht Show 2026

Fresh from her delivery in June, Nixie is set to make her global debut at the Monaco Yacht Show 2026, where she is currently the largest confirmed yacht attending. At 102.4 metres, the Lürssen will be one of the headline attractions in Port Hercule and among the newest yachts on display. Following her maiden voyage, which began in Gibraltar, Nixie has entered the Mediterranean ahead of what is expected to be one of the most anticipated appearances of this year’s show.

2. She’s one of the world’s most expensive charter yachts

While many yachts of this size remain strictly private, Nixie has entered the charter market, where she immediately ranks among the world’s most expensive yachts available to rent at €2,400,000 per week. With a weekly rate placing her as the fourth most expensive charter yacht in the world – after BreakthroughKismet and Renaissance – she joins an elite handful of vessels commanding seven-figure charter fees. That price reflects not only her size but also the exclusivity of experiencing one of the newest 100-metre-plus yachts afloat.

At the time of Nixie‘s delivery, Jamie Edmiston of her charter central agency Edmiston said: “With her scale, design pedigree and extraordinary wellness offering, she is set to become one of the standout charter yachts of her generation.”

3. She’s the latest collaboration between Lürssen and RWD

Nixie marks the latest collaboration between German shipyard Lürssen and British design studio RWD, with the latter responsible for both her exterior styling and interiors. Her bespoke warm-grey profile is characterised by deep contours, sweeping convex forms and carefully integrated glazing, creating what Lürssen describes as a superstructure that appears to “dissolve into itself”.

As with every Lürssen build, naval architecture and engineering were completed in-house, while RWD worked alongside the yard to deliver a yacht that balances sculptural design with practical long-range cruising. The project was sold by Moran Yacht & Ship in 2021, which also oversaw her technical development and project management through to delivery.

4. She has one of the largest beach clubs ever built by Lürssen

Wellbeing is at the heart of Nixie‘s design, beginning with one of her most distinctive features: a six-metre-wide glass swimming pool that appears to float above the swim platform. The semi-suspended pool has adjustable water levels and extends over the stern to strengthen the connection with the sea.

Below, a 270-square-metre beach club is among the largest ever created on a Lürssen yacht. Complete with a gym, cryochamber and four fold-down sea terraces, it transforms into a sprawling waterside living space. The wellness focus continues on the sundeck, where a private spa includes a beauty salon, massage room, steam room and sauna, while a Jacuzzi and sunpads create a more sociable atmosphere aft.

5. Edmiston has described Nixie as “a new generation of charter yacht” centred on wellbeing

Nixie was conceived to strengthen the connection between guests and the ocean. A commercial helideck doubles as a sports court, while indoor and outdoor cinemas, a bridge-deck firepit lounge and a teppanyaki dining area provide a variety of entertaining spaces throughout Meanwhile, a fleet of tenders and water toys supports an extensive exploration programme, reflecting Edmiston’s description of Nixie as “a new generation of charter yacht, where wellbeing, comfort and connection to the sea are considered at every level of the design”.
